Kuala Selangor - Otter Heaven

The smooth coated otter seems to adapt well to mangrove and estuaries. There is an abundance of prey species in these ecosystems. A thriving population of Lutragale perspicilata can been seen at Kuala Selangor Nature Park.. just an hours drive north of Kuala Lumpur. Here we are collecting spraint for prey species analysis as well as showing the younger generations how field work is done and what we have to look for when seeking out otters.
